Definitions & Scope

The following clauses define the boundaries of our testing and verification services. They are intended to prevent ambiguity regarding deliverables, system coverage, and liability.

Source-Code Audit Scope

Audits cover only the codebase explicitly provided by the client in a tagged release. We do not assess third-party libraries, operating system kernels, or hardware firmware unless separately commissioned. Findings are reported against the provided version only.

Stress Test Limitations

Stress tests simulate load up to the agreed peak transaction volume. Results do not guarantee performance under unanticipated hardware failures, network partitions, or malicious attacks. Any degradation beyond the tested envelope is excluded from our verification.

Telemetry Data Verification

Verification is performed on data streams recorded during the agreed observation window. We do not validate historical data or data from sensors that were not calibrated according to the manufacturer’s specifications at the time of capture.

Liability Cap

Our total liability for any claim arising from services rendered is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for consequential damages, including lost profits or operational downtime.

These definitions apply to all engagements unless superseded by a signed statement of work. For full terms, refer to our terms of service.
